Best setup: start Waze first with voice on, then open SonoRev and leave it on screen. Waze talks from the background; SonoRev tracks speed.
Waze on screen: SonoRev can keep playing sound in the background, but phone browsers often pause GPS when the page isn’t visible — the engine may coast on your last speed. Keep SonoRev on screen for live tracking (especially on iPhone).
One audio route: Waze and SonoRev share the same output — phone speaker, Bluetooth speaker, CarPlay, or Android Auto. You can’t split them.
CarPlay / Android Auto: connect the car first, then Start. If silent, tap Play on the car’s Now Playing card or the phone’s media controls.
Audio keeps playing when you lock the phone or switch apps (shows as media). On iPhone it also plays with the silent switch on.
